Are problems with Dale Earnhardt Jr.s engines due to way hes driving it, or should blame be on DEI engines?

A reporter said reason Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s engines keep blowing up at end of races , because of way he drives them. I can’t understand that, because I thought all Nascar drivers drive them full throttle most of the time. Also, being him leaving at end of season kind of coincidental that it been happening so often. Any feedback on this matter greatly appreciated.
